Why Accreditation Matters at Kiddie Kollege

Kiddie Kollege Childcare Centers are committed to providing only the best to children and their families. Our five centers meet the high standards that are required to be nationally accredited through Pathways (National Early Education and Care Accreditation through the Children’s Institute).
The process includes an in-depth self-assessment, on-going classroom observations, staff and leadership qualifications, curriculum, health and safety, parent communication, interactions and administration. The process can take up to a year to become fully accredited and meet all standards. It is a partnership with the families, children and staff to work together to obtain all the criteria and meet the goals expected and the new ones established.
We provide a safe and healthy environment for children, and a curriculum that is appropriately challenging, rewarding and developmentally sound. This is a voluntary process that we choose to maintain. This is a step beyond NYS licensing requirements that requires a high quality expertise in the field.
